1 Ideation.

In order to properly scope an app, we need to get all the different ideas out of our head and onto some paper. Will shows you a brainstorming excersice to help make sure you've gotten your great idea out.

2 Important stuff first.

Now that you have a lot of ideas, it's time to make some order. Will shows you how to prioritise your different ideas to make sure you're starting with what's most important..

3 User experience with a journey map.

Next, you'll spend some time getting out of your own head, and into the heads of the people who will be using your app. Will takes you through a process to map out someones experience using your app.

4 Uncovering the hidden functionality.

The trick with apps is that they are ALWAYS more complicated than they seem, and there is always more functionality that is needed. Will shows you how to make sure you've thought through all the different things that are needed to make your app work.

5 Cut it down to size.

Finally, now that you've accidently enlarged your project far beyond the original scope, Will helps you to cut it back down to the most important and achievable elements.
